INOUYE oriental art Ltd. was formerly founded in 1962 as EDO & CO., by the late Taiji Inouye (1914-1984) in Hakone, Kanagawa-Ken, Japan, where is one of Japan’s the most famous scenic spot place known to worldwide, and after the founder’s passing away, Yukichi Inouye (1950- ) has succeeded to it, and inaugurated the new business base in Tokyo in 1995 under the name of T. EDO INOUYE & SON oriental art at Yaesu, Chuo-Ku, Tokyo.
Thence by descended, the Gallery moved at Nihonbashi, Chuo-Ku for re-opening another new gallery. In 2017due to our business expansions, Yukichi Inouye has started up another new company under the name of INOUYE oriental art Ltd. at Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo in 2017.
Our expertise is in Chinese, Japanese and Korean ceramics and works of art, which covers cross-cultural works of art from the Far-Eastern to the Middle Eastern, the works of art range from all centuries. We have well experienced in all Asian arts and fine arts. And with galleries in Tokyo, INOUYE oriental art Ltd. exhibits at reputed art fairs and events such as ART FAIR TOKYO, TOBI ARTFAIR, and the else leading art fairs which taken place in Japan.
INOUYE oriental art Ltd. has published annual scholarly catalogues and books. Collectors
and museums widely acquired from us and regularly put our exhibition booth stand at the
domestic fairs and exhibitions.
